The classic Mount Kinabalu experience. Ascend to Laban Rata mountain hut (3,272m) on Day 1, rest and refuel, then begin the pre-dawn summit push to Low’s Peak (4,095m) for one of the world’s most breathtaking sunrises. Pickup from your hotel at approximately 6:30 AM. Two-hour scenic drive to Kinabalu Park Headquarters for registration, permit collection, and guide briefing. Transfer to Timpohon Gate (1,866m).
Trek approximately 6km through stunning montane rainforest, mossy forest and alpine terrain. Rest at shelters along the way. Reach Laban Rata (3,272m) in 4-6 hours, check in to your dormitory, and enjoy a hot buffet dinner with panoramic cloud views.

Pre-Dawn Summit Push - Low's Peak - Descent - Kota Kinabalu

Wake at 2:00 AM. Summit push along fixed ropes across the granite plateau to Low's Peak (4,095m) in 2-3 hours. Sunrise above the clouds is unforgettable. Supper served before descent.
Descend to Timpohon Gate (3-5 hours). Certificate presented at Park HQ. Return transfer to Kota Kinabalu by late afternoon.
